AOSOTH is a project of vocalist and lyricist MkM (founder of Antaeus ). The band combines black and death metal. Unlike the violent style of Antaeus , AOSOTH's music goes towards a disharmonious and sultry sound. The author of the music is guitarist and producer Bst ( The Order Of Apollyon , VI ). They are accompanied by bassist INRVI (founder of VI ) and second guitarist Saroth ( Hell Militia / Temple Of Baal ). The band's session drummer is T.
"V: The Inside Scriptures" is the last chapter of the concept initiated by the two previous studio albums, "III" and "IV: Arrow In Heart" . The new album differs from them primarily in the general atmosphere of the recordings. The latter lasted about three years and were interrupted many times due to personal events in the lives of MkM and Bst . At one point, AOSOTH considered abandoning work on the album and not releasing it.
The drums were recorded at Hybreed Studios ( Temple Of Baal , Glorior Belli , VI ), and all other instruments at BST Studios . The mixing and mastering also took place at the latter. The cover image was created by Benjamin A. Vierling ( Nightbringer , Weapon ) . The layout was created by Somnyum . The band's logo was created by Erik Danielsson of Watain .
