"Firescorched" is the fastest, most extreme and highly experimental album in SADIST's career . There is a breath of fresh air on it, among others due to the debut of blast beats in the music of the Italians. Combined with dark and tormented lyrics, the song conveys the atmosphere of horror. The album is permeated by the band's characteristic style, intertwining progressive death metal, jazz and Middle Eastern influences. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Nadir Music Studios in Italy by the band's leader, Tommy Talamanca . The cover was prepared by Paolo Puppo . Romain Goulon (ex- Necrophagist , ex- Benighted ) sat on drums. On bass we can hear Jeroen Paul Thesseling ( Obscura , ex- Pestilence ).
