Brazilian death metallers REBAELLIUN return with their first album in seven years, their second since reforming and their fourth since the band formed in 1998. "Under The Sign Of Rebellion" is a death metal manifesto of anger and rebellion, rage and resistance, ignited by the deceit and corruption that have plagued Brazil in recent years. The intense barrage of brutal riffs, galloping drums and driving rhythms reflects the adversity the musicians have faced.

"When we started composing the next album, we could not have imagined that we would be going through a global pandemic and with it a backward and conservative uprising in Brazil; on top of that a government that has proven to be deceitful and corrupt," comments REBAELLIUN . "When we started recording, we didn't have lyrics because the pandemic interfered with our lives, leading to numerous delays. In a moment of growing anger at everything that was happening around us, we decided to start recording without rehearsals. The outrage was so big that we wanted to give vent to what we felt. The lyrics were written in opposition to what we here call 'cidad?o de bem' or 'good people', exposing the myth that is the life of these vile beings. Under The Sign Of Rebellion is an album that tries to present the madness of life through the medium of death metal."

"Under The Sign Of Rebellion" is the last REBAELLIUN album to feature the late bassist/vocalist Lohy Fabiano (1978-2022). He co-produced all of the band's albums, except for their debut "Burn The Promised Land" from 1999.

"Under The Sign Of Rebellion" was recorded in the summer of 2021 at RR44 Studio by Rafael Siqueira and mastered by Jander Antunes . The cover was created by Sebastian Suarez , and the layout and booklet by Alcides Burn ( Nervosa ).
