Swedish cult death metallers DERANGED will release a new album, " Struck By A Murderous Siege ", via Agonia Records on October 28. Recording for the album recently wrapped up at Bern Studio ( Amon Amarth , The Crown , Witchery ). The Swedes' ninth album comes five years after its predecessor, 2011's " Cut Carve Rip Serve ". The album's cover art was created by Mike Hrubovcak ( Grave , Six Feet Under , Sinister ).
Guitarist and main composer Thomas Ahlgren says about the album:
" The upcoming material is a combination of classic Deranged brutality and some new elements that will please old and new fans. The album will feature five fast, riff-heavy tracks and three heavy, mid-tempo tracks. This is one of the most interesting and diverse albums we have ever recorded. "
The album will feature 8 new compositions, with a total playing time of over 40 minutes.
