Baner
Pest

PEST was formed in 1997 by Necro and Equimanthorn. Thrilled to return after a five-year break (since 2008's "Rest In Morbd Darkness") and with a new record deal in hand, PEST is once again back on its own turns, exposing a characteristic brand of old-school black metal to passion and mixing melodic yet haunted guitar licks with speed, rawness and chaos.

Band's fifth album "The Crowning Horror" was released in 2013. The recording was mixed by Fred Estby (Dismemebr/Carnage/Necronaut) at Gutterview Recorders and mastered by Andy Jackson (Pink Floyd's engineer, Grammy nominee) at Tube Mastering, UK.

PEST is recommended for fans of Bathory, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Nifelheim, Darkthrone, Aura Noir, older Deströyer 666 and similar. The current line-up consists of: Necro (drums/guitars/vacals), Equimanthorn (bass/guitars) and Insulter (drums).
